Friday 29th April

Registration for Summer School of Music

Nesbitt Arms Hotel. 7.00pm – 8.00pm

Beginners School of Music in Fidil, Feadóg Mór, Feadóg Stáin, Bosca Ceoil.
Moderate and Advanced only in Fidil & Bosca Ceoil.
Our Guest of Honour this year, Dermot Byrne, will conduct the Masterclass in
Accordion.
Also world class fiddle player Brid Harper will conduct a masterclass in fiddle.
Brid will be assisted by local and renowned fiddle player Michael O’Rourke.

Fee: Adult €80, Children €40

All Star Opening Concert

Nesbitt Arms Hotel. Doors open 8.00pm (Performance starts 8.30pm)

Special Event to honour one of Donegal’s most famous and popular musicians,
accordion player Dermot Byrne.
Ireland’s best known musicians will play to honour Dermot. A night not to be missed.

This is a unique opportunity to enjoy traditional Irish music at its best. See and hear
the best of music in a relaxed and joyful environment.

Open Air Recitals

Open air Music Recitals with the best music around.

Visiting Guests

Amongst the many guests this year are a group of musicians from France and the
USA who plan to be part of this wonderful and world famous Cup of Tae Festival.

A Very Special Event Honouring the Campbells

Beehive Bar. 8.00pm

Pat McGill will offer a special evening of music in honour of the wonderful Vincent
and Jimmy Campbell. Sadly this year, for the first time since the festival began,
neither fiddler will be in attendance.
Come early as this is an event that may be oversubscribed.

Open air music recital which will include the students and teachers from the schools
and workshops, who will showcase what they have learned with a music session on
The Diamond.

Finale Concert

The Nesbitt Arms Hotel. 8.00pm

The John “The Tae” Concert is always a special event. This year a list of top
musicians will perform at this concert in honour of the late great John “The Tae”.
A show not to be missed. Please come early. Seating limited.
